Senior Software Engineer

Battle Company is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Senior Software Engineer. To qualify you must have a solid understanding of both back-end and front-end systems and must be comfortable writing code for both Android and IOS applications. Experience developing in Unity is desirable, but not required to be considered for the position. We are looking for a skilled programmer with all-around skill sets to help lead and achieve our software development goals. You will collaborate with management, write code, oversee our current and future software teams. Your major role will be to take new software projects from start to finish including scope development, estimating project costs, adhering to time frames, and providing general project management. The right candidate will be self-motivate and team-oriented, with a mind for creative solutions and fresh ideas. Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working on Mobile Development or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automated testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Comfortable working on cross-discipline teams (Engineering, Design, UX, Production, QA, etc.)
  • Able to drive and support creation of technical documentation
  • Firm grasp of parallel programming development
  • Great communications skills
  • Commitment to quality and sustainability
  • Share responsibility for upkeep and support of Production systems
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages
  • Familiar with JS frameworks (NodeJS, AngularJS, Backbone, React, Vue.js, etc.)
  • Comfortable with visualization frameworks (d3.js, Canvas, Unity)
  • Familiarity with horizontally scalable design
  • Experience with web development (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience developing HTTP-based APIs (RESTful, RPC, etc.)
  • Experience with database platforms and concepts (SQL, NoSQL, ACID, CAP)

Job Responsibilities

Sales and New Business Procurement

  • Continuously monitor communication channels and respond to new leads and inquiries
  • Pursue incoming sales leads, generate new sales opportunities, email correspondence, and customer follow-ups
  • Identify existing customer sales opportunities
  • Provide staffing for exhibitions/trade-show booths
  • Process sales orders according to company procedures
  • Complete monthly sales reports

Customer Relations

  • Create an improved customer experience by providing immediate and proactive support
  • Take ownership of customers’ issues and follow problems through to resolution

  • 2 year minimum sales experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and work with the content team and across departments to influence the type of content that gets created and the distribution of content across social media & retail platforms.
  • Lead the content creation process for all new product launches.
  • Manage and report on social media ad spend and on-going account maintenance.
  • Identify new content opportunities with keyword research, developing and applying SEO and conversion best practices to increase the email sign-up rate of visitors to content pages.
